This OSHA HAZWOPER 8 hour refresher course has been tailored for individuals who work as Environmental Health Specialists (EHS), or a similar position, and conduct inspections at varying types of facilities as part of their job for a government agency.  The course will meet all requirements and cover all required topics set by OSHA in their HAZWOPER standard 29 CFR 1910.120.  

The class is being taught by Randy Perlis with HazChem LLC

Randy Perlis has a master’s degree in analytical chemistry with 30+ years in hazardous materials and environmental chemistry and has been a hazardous materials instructor and hazmat responder since 1986. He was an EPA START contractor and on the Hazardous Materials Regional Response Team for 25 years. He has developed several techniques to rapidly assess the chemical, biological, and radiological hazards at response sites utilizing several reliable screening techniques.
