2021 CEHA AEC COVID-19 Requirements and Guidelines
We are following local and state requirements for our conference, and utilizing some CDC guidelines in structuring a safe environment.
Masks are required for everyone in indoor spaces. All conference attendees and exhibitors – including those fully vaccinated – are required to wear a mask in indoor spaces. Masks are required universally at all times including the banquet room, breakouts rooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas. Presenters may remove their masks for clarity and ADA purposes, provided all participants are wearing masks. Masks are required in these spaces regardless of posted COVID-19 capacity. Masks may be removed during times of active eating and drinking. Masks must be worn and used as shown on the CDC guidance page here.
Attendees are highly encourage to get and to be vaccinated against COVID-19, but there are no requirements at this time.
If you are vaccinated: You may remove your mask indoors in enclosed spaces – where traffic can be controlled or masking can be adjusted in real-time – when able to keep 10+ feet from others. Masks are optional outdoors.
If you are unvaccinated: You must continue to wear a mask at all times. The only exception is when outdoors and 10+ feet from others. See below for additional requirements.
We continue to monitor incidence rates for COVID-19 cases in Pueblo County and are working with Pueblo Department of Public Health and Environment to ensure that we can gather safely and responsibly in Pueblo. As such, our COVID-19 protocols may change. Please visit this page for the most up-to-date information.
There will be no distancing with the seating arrangements.

We recognize that not all of us are comfortable meeting in person this September and will miss those who are unable to join us this year. However, we hope to offer a safe and inclusive space for those who are able to meet in person. Participants will be asked to sign this waiver at conference registration.
If you are COVID-19 positive or experiencing COVID related symptoms, or are under quarantine, stay home and contact firstname.lastname@example.org for refund procedures. You may be asked to leave the event if you are experiencing symptoms indicative of COVID-19 at the conference.
